FAQs

  • Come as you are. The more of your honest Self that you bring the session, the more we can learn about you and understand your goals.

  • Although I am a licensed physical therapist, my 1:1 work weaves together somatic awareness and trauma-informed care in a way that goes beyond traditional physical therapy. Therefore, I am working under my Somatic Certifications— not physical therapy.

When hands-on support is offered, it is gentle, intuitive, and relational, inspired by craniosacral-style approaches. The intention is to create a sense of ease and connection within the body, allowing healing to unfold from within. This work is supportive and complementary in nature and may be integrated alongside physical therapy or other forms of care, but it is not a replacement for them.

  • Well that really depends on each individual. Some experience a day or a week of energetic shifting that may include clearing of bowels, a desire for rest, increased energy, clarity, changes in symptoms… it varies!

  • We’ll begin with a consultation call to explore whether we’re a good fit. This is a relaxed, no-pressure conversation where we’ll talk about what’s bringing you here, what you’re hoping for, and whether this kind of somatic, trauma-informed work feels supportive for this part of your journey. It’s an opportunity to ask questions, get a sense of my approach, and listen into your own body’s yes or no before moving forward.
