Pelvic Somatic Coach Certification
Root system
Neuroscience & Grounding Practices
We’ll begin with the body’s rooting system—the nervous system. Drawing from leading-edge research beyond Polyvagal Theory, we’ll explore how the nervous system is wired for safety and survival, and how these patterns shape our capacity for connection, regulation, and embodied presence. Through gentle, body-based practices, you’ll learn to notice and track sensations, grounding yourself in the present moment.
Connect with the ground, nature, & gravity.
Trauma Energy
The Dissociation Spectrum
Learn about the Trauma-Vortex, “stuck” energy, the Dissociation Spectrum, and how the nervous system responds to trauma. We’ll track trauma looping, understand dissociation as a protective response, and build shared language to talk about these experiences— like “shame spirals.” We’ll also explore a range of trauma categories, including developmental and ancestral, collective and cultural, medical and sexual, perinatal/birth, and original trauma related to separation and domination of land and people.
Connection
Relational Healing
Just like roots of a tree— we need each other. Trauma happens in relationship and so does healing! Learn tools for deepening into connection including the “yes”/ “no” spectrum, attunement, presence, mirroring, differentiating, negotiating accommodations, and repairing rupture—so we can build relationships rooted in safety, honesty, and mutual care.
Practice with small- cohorts.
Inner-Resources
Internalized Voices & Core Beliefs
Explore the internalized voices we carry and our relationship to them through a somatic, bottom-up approach. We’ll learn how to sense these voices in the body, understand their protective and adaptive functions, and gently shift our relationship to them with curiosity and compassion. While cultivating a steady, compassionate voice at the forefront, we’ll also honor and strengthen nurturing and protective internal guides—supporting greater internal safety, choice, and self-trust.
Develop & internalize Self compassion.
Practice tracking dissociation.
LEVEL 1
DIVE Into Your Own System
This Program might not be your first step if—
You live with many different split selves, without a primary self that can be called on for learning. If unsure about this, reach out to discuss.
You are not in therapy, or are just starting out on your self-healing journey. You can reach out to talk about starting 1:1 with Dr. Grace and building towards this program.
Your reluctance to unlearning internalized harmful body-hierarchical beliefs outweighs your interest in learning new ways of being with your body.
